We are seeking an experienced IT Support Officer to provide technical support and assistance to our employees and stakeholders. As an IT Support Officer, you will be responsible for resolving technical issues, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to employees and stakeholders, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
2. Help Desk Support: Manage and respond to help desk requests, including phone, email, and ticketing system requests.
3. Hardware and Software Support: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
4. Network Support: Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and virtual private networks (VPNs).
5. System Administration: Perform system administration tasks, including user account management, password resets, and access control.
6. IT Asset Management: Manage IT assets, including inventory management, asset tracking, and disposal of obsolete equipment.
7. Cybersecurity: Ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems, including implementing security measures and responding to security incidents.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Experience: 2 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on providing technical support and assistance.
3. Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of operating systems, hardware, software, and networking.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with IT Service Management: Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.
2. Knowledge of Cybersecurity Best Practices: Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and threat management.
3. Experience with Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud technologies, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS).
