We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

An  Accountant, or Accounting Assistant, supports the Accountant in completing basic bookkeeping, clerical, and accounting tasks for a company.

Their duties include preparing company budgets, building and assessing financial reports, cash management, and managing a business's payroll processes. 

• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivables (Accounts ledgers)
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
• Bank reconciliation on a daily basis
• Provide input into the department's goal-setting process
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns
• Plan, assign, and review staff work & report to the Manager
• Support the month-end and Year-end close process

Requirements:

• Proven experience as Financial Controller, Accounting principles (GAAP)
• Awareness of business trends
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end year close process
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookup and pivot tables
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• MS Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
