We are seeking an experienced Tool & Die Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our tool and die shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of toolmakers, die makers, and other support staff to ensure efficient production, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning: Plan and prioritize production activities to meet customer requirements and deadlines.

2. Team Management: Manage a team of toolmakers, die makers, and other support staff, including training, development, and performance management.

3. Quality Control: Ensure quality control measures are in place to meet customer requirements and industry standards.

4. Safety Management: Ensure a safe working environment, including compliance with safety regulations and standards.

5. Tooling and Die Development: Develop and implement tooling and die designs to meet customer requirements.

6. Maintenance and Repair: Ensure maintenance and repair of tooling and die equipment to prevent downtime and ensure efficient production.

7. Customer Communication: Communicate with customers to understand their requirements and provide updates on production status.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool and Die Making, or a related field.

2. Minimum 5-7 years of experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in tool and die making, preferably in a management role.

3. Strong technical knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of tooling and die making, including design, development, and manufacturing.

4. Leadership skills: Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

5. Problem-solving skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with CAD/CAM software: Experience with CAD/CAM software, such as SolidWorks or Mastercam.

2. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.

3. Certification in tool and die making: Certification in tool and die making or a related field.
