The Public Relations Lead will help shape how the world sees Safina. You’ll be responsible for telling our story, communicating impact, and helping us grow our support network—whether that’s donors, volunteers, or the people we serve.

• This is a junior role—and we don’t expect you to have all the answers. We’ll train and mentor you every step of the way.

Reqired Skills

• Fluency in English — this is a must
• Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving ability
• Excellent teamwork and professional communication
• Attention to detail and a strong personal work ethic
• Interest in marketing, PR, copywriting, and design
• Familiarity with Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets
• Some experience with Wix, Canva, or similar platforms
• Basic photo and video editing skills
• Writing experience (blogs, posts, captions, anything!)

Responsibilities (We’ll Train You)

• Creating social media content (graphic design + direct response marketing)
• Writing reports and making presentations for donors and stakeholders (copywriting)
• Updating and maintaining our website (no-code web design)
• Coordinating and promoting volunteer and project activities (people + project management)
• Running and supporting fundraisers (including paid social campaigns)
